Slipcase #2 has sold! And for a terrific $33. Thank you so much to those who bid.
It takes a few dollars to keep a small press going, even one fueled primarily by passion as OW Press is. Couple that with our mission to enhance the author/reader relationship, and you get these slipcases, handmade by OW Press authors, Tim Hall and Caleb J Ross.
These are one-of-a-kind, never to be duplicated, handmade items. Who knows, maybe one of us will expire and slipcases will be worth tens of hundreds of dollars.
Every slipcase comes with the following:
- 1 SIGNED copy of Justin Hyde’s poetry collection, Down Where The Hummingbird Goes to Die, with a personal photo of Hyde ripped from his own private albums, and an anecdote about the depicted events, handwritten by Hyde.
- 1 SIGNED copy of Justin Hyde’s Nerve Cowboy contest winning poetry chapbook, Another Casualty at the 34th Street Bus Stop, from Liquid Paper Press (he was so kind to give some copies of this for the cause, even though it isn’t an OW Press release)
- 1 SIGNED copy of David Blaine’s poetry collection, Antisocial, with two additional poems, printed separately on cardstock, each signed by the author
- 1 SIGNED copy of Caleb J Ross’s story collection, Charactered Pieces: stories
- 1 SIGNED copy of Tim Hall’s story collection, One Damn Thing After Another
Here’s how we are going to do it. Each slipcase will be available for auction at eBay for a period of SEVEN days. Once one slipcase sells, we will unveil the next.
Bidding for all slipcases will start at the list price for the combined OW Press books: $27. Actually, buying each individually would cost more when you factor in shipping.
See below for specifics about each slipcase. To bid, …
