We like variety. You have crazy thoughts and artistic sensibilities. Therefore, you should design our homepage header.
Here’s the deal: simply send an image (specs below) to admin {at} outsiderwriters.org. We won’t be able to use every image we receive, but our hope is to feature a new header, every month or so, from a different OWC blog reader. Should we select your image, we will link back to your homepage and will also feature a blog post on OWC with your bio (and anything else you want people to know about you). I told you it was simple.

What we are looking for: Just about anything, really. It must have the OWC logo somewhere (download it from the link below). The logo can be sized, colored, or positioned however you would like. It doesn’t even have to be the most prominent part of the header. You can Where’s Waldo it if you want.
Can the header image promote your work? Sure. Just keep it classy. We aren’t looking for a giant billboard ad with your book cover. But if your book cover has some cool stylistic elements to it, and it can be manipulated in such a way that it doesn’t look like a giant advertisement, then go for it. However, know that if we have two images, both being equal in all respects but the promotional aspect, we will probably go with the non-promotional image.
