i remember when

i remember when i am dead
and a ghoul might distractedly
nibble my stubby fingers.

i hope they are crunchy
between his tapering teeth,
and he takes a few to sustain him

on the deep descent to his burrow
where he may save my hollow
bones in unhallowed ground.

better be meat between a ghoul's
teeth than a humble soul
gobbling god's goodness

in that ghastly codependency -
a god who depends on you and me
is a frightfully feeble being

though fine by cross-dressing Rilke
apparently -
(it seems he had different preferences than me)

Stockholm sky

the sky over Stockholm is heavy with memories
not clouds, the weather here loves us
today and puts the children slowly
to embedded being in a methadone heaven

where addictions bear the slovenly burden
of bibles meanwhile, and our tense
logic measures out minutes “during
which” love happens and we become

nothing, as nothing becomes us
electric. static in the terrible smiling
sky, and the homo mensura thesis
secondary qualities scribbled there

misspells itself like nightmares
dispelled. we stand erect again
and love ourselves, children
still, maybe someday even

somebody else, like loving
the buckled mirror in us -
burdened by reflexive memories,
burdened by beer and drugs,

burdened by love

i have cobwebs

i have cobwebs and ghosts in me
i laughingly call memories
wrapped in inadequate mourning
and grotesque pederasty, secret
treaties with nothing signed in scars
and love, angular as a red moon,
in a sky contemplating suicide;
and light pours out of me like murder
she decided we should die
but i didn't hear her

About OW!
Outsider Writers have been distributing chapbooks in dark subterranean caverns for too long. The corporate presses and literary institutions have no vision. The media is irrelevant. It's time to rise into the sun!

Our Goal: Unite the write! We will join forces where we are strong, eliminate duplication of effort where we are weak and put the power and authority over literature back into the hands of the only legitimate owners: the authors and the readers.
