Touch

What should be taken away?
What, if anything,
should be killed?
Raped from yourself
and disposed of.
What do you disdain?
This will only hurt for a moment.

You love to hate
the cliches
that are the me in you.
Which part of me
would you like
to have me
cut
from your body.

Darling Mother
why are you weeping?

I've come to heal you
with my barbaric
violence.
Don't let fear keep you
from closing your eyes.
My sleep will envelope every aspect of you,
But you will wake again
One way or another.

About OW!
Outsider Writers have been distributing chapbooks in dark subterranean caverns for too long. The corporate presses and literary institutions have no vision. The media is irrelevant. It's time to rise into the sun!

Our Goal: Unite the write! We will join forces where we are strong, eliminate duplication of effort where we are weak and put the power and authority over literature back into the hands of the only legitimate owners: the authors and the readers.
