The Writer's Post Journal is just the place for the creative minds to meet. 



We're a small print journal based out of Pittsburgh, aiming to reach and show off talented writers and artists.  We look for poetry, short stories, and creative nonfiction pieces that span across the spectrum of literature.

Continue reading for more information... We don't stick to one genre or style.  Creativity is our main goal, fed by passion and care for the craft.  If it's a pleasurable read, it fits with us!  Most of our writers are young and passionate, and we don't discriminate against unpublished authors.  In fact, we seek them out.

Each month follows a different theme just to keep the issues fun and interesting, but if your writing moves us, we'll find room for it anywhere.  We look for writing that shouts from the pages.  There's nothing better than vivid and visual writing that doesn't let go.  Be passionate in your literature.  Love every sentence like it's your last.  But don't waste words!  Push all of your emotions into the craft, and you'll be bound together with us at WPJ.  The best part about publishing with us is that our contributors retain all of the rights.  They can print their stories again and again, and we even accept previously published pieces.
