i would say that romance novels are bad writing, but when i worked at the used bk store, we sold tons of'em. i would also say that john grisham is bad writing, but once again, we sold tons of'em. i agree that "good" & "bad" is a matter of opinion. but at least there's lots of folk writin' out there. wish i could comment one way or the other about hemmingway, but i've never read him. but i do know that his bks make good paper weights.
