suited for space by Bill Drennan

The mind suited to space-time travel does not always comply with the restrictions thrust upon homo sap’s everyday environment. But this is precisely the point of space exploration & its associated technologies. It has been suggested that the great Archons—those who govern us & our increasingly sordid globe—are guardians of this Great Trap, & are themselves desperate to escape the very planet that has contained them in fields of space-operatic background noise since the dawn of the alien visitations. They were themselves pursued here & landed, beaten, abandoned, stranded & ‘sealed’—so that the cosmic trap is somewhat telescopic & regressive—right down to their serpentine bowels & buggered brains. The ‘music of the spheres’ is the harmony that holds our alien-leaders to this planet—much to their chagrin. The Great Archons unleash their incarceration-angst on the poor, unsuspecting rat-race—which has become so insecurely & increasingly fascinated with matter that it almost always misses the point of it all—that is: to escape. We cannot hear the background noise that detains our governors—but they can, & it tortures them, makes them homesick, gives them vertigo, tinitus, quakes in the inner ear. Once this music becomes available to our extra-sensational faculties, the next step will be to crack the vibrational codes. Our spirit-god-creatures parade themselves in expensive suits, run & ruin our economic systems, & have natural impulses towards projecting their frustrations on the less important, mortal inhabitants of our world; trapped on a prison (as they see it), they treat the planet & its inhabitants as a prison—hence the nephilim-slavery effect that spews enigmatic beauty in our faces to distract us from its source. Since their space stations & satellites are part of their own escape-plan, we must wearily conclude that even escapism can no longer be trusted. Then again, it would depend on what is generated via the escapist process or its seemingly impossible outcome … Our underground team is presently looking into the planet’s acceleration processes & the compressed temporal leaps that appear to be occurring on a daily basis. Significantly, they have discovered that Bad Power is the fault-line. In terms of psycho-spiritual tectonics, the vile arrogance of the Archons thrives on the trembling skull of human fear—& is unable to liberate itself from this parasitic requirement whilst incarcerated here. Logically, we should assist them in removing their own vile presence from our home, but we are not supposed to be aware of our own detention. Due to the sheer frustration & desperation of the Archons’ condition, their escape-plan, rather than cracking codes to unlock the stargate, might resort to an impatient & fearfully high surge of gamma radiation ‘treatment’; & as a consequence of this, their farewell gift to our planet will be the end of the line for every living thing. Therefore, our team has resolved to crack the code first; once this is achieved, we shall hold our leaders to ransom, allowing them to be peacefully ejected—with no knowledge whatsoever of the cracked code. Withholding the key will be the most difficult part of the liberation process. Although they have control of the armies, our movement is mycelial & spreading fast. Only when the Archons are ejected can we securely seal our own fates by re-sealing the stargate to keep those perpetrators of evil away from our planet.
Born Glasgow, Scotland, 1962. Bill Drenan been writing since teens in much the same vein: with an (unconscious) agenda to synthesize ideas about anything or nothing into something individual. Not always interested in rationality even though alien rationales are ‘assimilated’. Mixes styles: can be mock-essaic, satiric, journalistic, blackly humourous, personal, political, poetic. Author of flightpath resistor (poems self-published in 2007), and is endlessly finishing off conspiracy machine, which ‘incorporates’ & discusses an ongoing fascination with conspiracy theory & should be available soon. Has been published elsewhere since the mid-90s. Most recent work can be found in Otoliths and eye on mars. Bill blogs at http://hypoetics.blogspot.com/.

Mock-essaic! I like that.
This was an unexpected post. Well done, though.
