philofers1Football player makes news for reading a book. In a related, ridiculously un-newsworthy story, I threw a football yesterday | I understand this is meant to sell this company’s printing services, but really, this is the dumbest offer ever. Who would want a printed copy of their NaNoWrMo novel? Isn’t the point to have a first draft? | Also, NaNoWrMo started this month. | Narrative is stronger than Twitter: “One is to make the electronic gadget the star of a heroic tale…They can…write fabulous novels. But another way of describing the situation is to say that you can’t keep a good story down. The story, not the gadget, is what’s irrepressible. So powerful is the story as a way of communicating that it will even sprout in a cellphone” | Outsider Caleb J Ross is part of a new art group called artjerk, where you can find short posts on various pieces of art (hint: artjerk, like circle jerk; gross) | Noah Cicero’s novel HUMAN WAR is being made into a movie. I’m a fan. I likely will be of this movie, too. | Outsider Tim Hall‘s and Jen Ferguson’s Monster Mash-up series is now live. This stuff is amazing. CHECK IT OUT NOW!
